It is made from open-knit yarn (hollow yarn), which has been widely used since the early Showa era, and woven using a precious old-fashioned "Taimaru knitting machine." Because the machine weaves slowly, the resulting fabric is very elastic and has a distinct roughness and texture. After several washes, the texture becomes even better and more unique.
